This company wanted some promotional videos for both internal and external use. The highlight video documenting the installation process. This footage had to be recorded and captured in the morning, as that is when they installed the panels. Our crew had a bright and early start to the day, climbing onto the roofs of houses. It was a workout but well worth it. A specific challenge for this video was getting all the shots without bothering the production. We could not afford any re-dos because the process was happening live, and it would require too much effort and energy to duplicate everything from the start. We had to anticipate the workers’ next moves by communicating with them so that both sides knew what was happening at all times. The footage took around 2 consecutive full-length days to capture, on top of editing and finalizing the product.
